Admissions information (Degree programs and non-degree programs)
- We do not offer special entrance examinations for international students. For more information, please refer to the application guidelines for each entrance examination.
- The official release schedule for our admissions information is as follows:
Undergraduate: Early Admission (Sogo-gata Sembatsu) : Late July
General Admission (Ippan Sembatsu): Early October (The admission overview is published in early July.)Graduate school: Master's Course - Music: Mid-June / Fine Arts: Late July
Doctoral Course - Music and Fine Arts: Late OctoberNon-degree students: Under graduate research student - Music: Late October / Fine Arts: Early July for spring enrollment and mid-January for autumn enrollment
Graduate research student - Music: Late October / Fine Arts: Early August - Those accepted as degree students, research students and graduate research student are eligible for a visa.
- To apply, you need to request the necessary application materials from AUA admissions office. See this page for details (Japanese only).
- We do not send application materials outside of Japan. Please arrange for someone to receive them on your behalf, such as an acquaintance in Japan.
Student exchange programs
We accept exchange students from universities with which we have exchange agreements. For more information, please inquire about international exchange opportunities available at your university.
